Marion Wood was born in Sydney, Australia. 
She attended Croydon High School, the University of Keele and 
the Royal College of Music in London.

She now lives in Belfast, working mostly in Exeter, with guest appearances in London and Ireland.

She curently holds the posts of
Director of Music, Exeter University,
Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of
The Romantic Symphony Orchestra,
Musical Director of the North Herts Guild of Singers and
Musical Director of Music Theatre Belfast
